The mural has the look of a collage. The creator is Kaldric Dow, whose Instagram describes him as a Texas visual artist.
Nolan Street dips under the railroad tracks here. This has long been the location of another colorful mural on the opposite side of the street.

On that day I only had time to stop by for a few minutes and get a look at the works in progress.
The next time I got to Essex Modern City, the place was locked up. I managed to stick my camera through the front gate and take the long shot of the finished wall. Because of the angle, I wasn’t able to get a view of Paul’s mural on the far right.

The outdoor mural gallery is located not far from the intersection of Highway 71 and Highway 183. The is well away from downtown Austin and just north of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.

For years, the city’s official Christmas tree was camped out in Alamo Plaza. In more recent years the official tree has been stationed in Travis Park.
The Alamo still has its own Christmas tree and the Riverway, as always, glitters at night with holiday lights.
Muralists took over the old Healy-Murphy Park on Nolan Street in San Antonio on Saturday.
This is just east of where McCullough becomes Nolan as it passes under Interstate 37 near downtown.
Organizers called it the largest outdoor gallery in Texas.
I stopped in at the Fredericksburg Brewing Company, the oldest operating brew pub in Texas.
You know you’re in Fredericksburg when the restaurant not only makes its own beer, but also made from scratch peach cobbler.
“Hier Wird mit Liebe Gekocht” means “cooking with love here”.
There is a new tribute to the Queen of Tejano Music on the western edge of downtown San Antonio. The mural is the work of Roland Alvarez – also known as Optek_Art.
This is at the corner of West Houston and North Leona about two blocks north of UTSA Downtown and a block east of Frio Street.
